LOCUS together with HEXA-X, RISE-6G, ARIADNE, and REINDEER is organizing a workshop at ICC 2022. The workshop will focus on the synergies among localization, sensing, and communications within the 6G ecosystem, which require a common venue, not focusing on any specific technological enabler, but rather support a broad and diverse set of viewpoints, including those from industry (telecom and radar industries) and academia (communications, signal processing, and circuits communities). On July 7, an outstanding keynote speech at IEEE SECON has been held by Dr. Fredrik Gunnarsson, Senior Specialist at Ericsson. In his speech, Fredrik presented the recent  advances on 5G Positioning, a keystone of the LOCUS mission, discussing many aspects such as requirements, algorithms, and applications.
