On 16th June 2020 the paper “LOCUS: Localization and analytics on-demand embedded in the 5G ecosystem” was presented at EuCNC 2020, the well-known European Conference on Networks and Communications. From 7th to 11th June, the IEEE ICC 2020 Workshop on Advances in Network Localization and Navigation (ANLN) was held, organized with the contribution of the LOCUS project and co-chaired by Stefania Bartoletti (CNIT). The aim of the workshop, which was held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions, was to solicit the development of new localization strategies and of new location-aware procedures to enhance the efficiency of communication networks. LOCUS kick-off meeting took place in Rome, on November 14 and 15, at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where one of the research units of CNIT is located.
